Other Notes of Interest: The new addition has strengthened the YMCA's financial position. Membership has increased by more than 30% and YMCA leaders have added new partnerships with the community including a new stand-alone Child Care Center.

Purpose of Studies: 2005: Test expansion and endowment campaign.
2009: Affirm campaign for YMCA of the Bighorns
Recommendation: 2005: $5.75 Million Endowment/Capital Campaign to be completed in phases.
2009: Multiple-year campaign for 2.4 million.
Date of Capital Campaign: 2005-2006/2009-2010
Raised to Date: More than $10 Million PLUS nearly $25 million in estate plan currently in settlement phase.

Other Notes of Interest: Top-level leadership was recruited and train to assure campaign success. YMCA leaders discovered that a campaign focused on endowment was possible. Carefully selected facility enhancements have been combined with prudent investments. J.C. Egbert & Associates was selected to help create the first YMCA resident camp in the state -- the YMCA of the Bighorns. This $2.45 million campaign is awaiting confirmation of several large foundation gifts to lead it to a successful completion.
